INSTRUCTOR TRAINING WORKSHOPS
Punches, kicks, locks, falls and rolls, kata, stick work, grappling....the list goes on. As martial artists and/or athletes we learn many things as a normal part of our training.
But how do you learn to teach? My own experience is that there is an unspoken assumption in martial arts that we will train people as our teachers trained us. That may work well in some cases, but we feel it is also helpful to apply the same efforts to learning to teach as you do to learn your art. That is why Ed Phillips and I have decided to offer a new approach to martial arts instructor training
THE REVOLUTION IS HERE!
People sometimes talk about the next evolution in martial arts or of the latest revolutionary training concept. Well, it is already here – in fact it has been around for quite some time...and it comes from Russia.
Born out of desparate need in World War Two, the Soviets instituted dynamic training programs that brought operatives to a level efficiency in as quick a time as possible. Post war that process was refined.... boosted with sports science, behavioural studies , practical experience.... synthesised with existing martial art styles.....all backed and studied by government sponsored experts, scientists, top athletes and military operatives.
Post – Perestroika these methods began to appear in the West. For the past 20 years they have been slowly gaining ground throughout the martial arts and sports world.
Now, for the first time in the UK, Instructors Rob Poyton and Ed Phillips are openly sharing these teaching methods with people of all backgrounds and styles.
NOT A FRANCHISE!
We want to make it clear – this is not a sales pitch for our system....we are not asking you to spend a fortune buying into our franchise...there is no pyramid scheme, no governing body to join. There is nothing to pay beyond the training fee. This is about showing you a new and different approach to teaching that you can apply to your own style.
We believe this method will help you realise your students full potential. We hope it will make your classes productive and enjoyable. While training can be hard and intense we don’t believe it should be carried out in an atmosphere of grim punishment. We will show you how to unlock you and your students’creativity
Our Instrucotr Training courses cover topics such as:
Setting up a class
Constructing Lesson Plans
The Seven Types of Learning

We can also provide access to further training with top Russian experts and other professionals. You will receive course notes and also a certificate of attendance on completion of the course.
We stress again – this is not a course to make you an Instructor in a style...it is not “buying in” to our school ...it is intensive, intelligent training to make you the best Instructor you can be
